'Small Group Instructional Reading' (SGIR)

The term applied to all the strategies that fit into the 'guided' category.

The teacher scaffolds and supports a small group of students, with a similar need, to guide them through
the reading, viewing, thinking, talking and analysis of a common text at the students'
zone of proximal development (ZPD).

Below are 3 of the SGIR Strategies with recommended resources.
For further learning, these strategies can be accessed as Google Classroom online modules.
